<p>For  more than 20 years, Progress Plus has played a pivotal role in the  economic development of South St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights.</p>
<p>Progress  Plus is the economic development foundation of the River Heights  Chamber of Commerce that brings more than 50 public and private partners  together, all dedicated to investing in the development of the local  community. With the guidance of 2012 Chairman Bruce Bairaktaris of South  St. Paul&#8217;s Quality Auto Care Center, Progress Plus is looking forward  to big changes in the immediate future.</p>
<p>Throughout  the economic downturn, Progress Plus continued working with city  officials and developers to lay a ground- work of detailed plans for  growth &#8211; to make sure the area would be ready for business when the time  was right.</p>
<p>This  year, Progress Plus is watching the hard work pay off with the most  significant development to come to South St. Paul and Inver Grove  Heights since before the recession, including new locations for Target,  Pawn America and Cameron&#8217;s Liquor Warehouse, BW Systems, and the Grove  Rogosheske office building along with other office and housing projects.</p>
